Help Madi­son Win a $5 Mil­lion Energy Prize

This fall, thou­sands of Madis­o­ni­ans will come together around the topic of sus­tain­abil­ity in a brand new way. After Labor Day, Green Madi­son and Mayor Paul Soglin will announce the launch a city-wide game called Cool Choices, where all of Madi­son will be invited to race to com­plete the great­est num­ber of sus­tain­able actions.

The goal of the city-wide Cool Choices game is to get every­one in Madi­son hav­ing fun mak­ing sus­tain­able choices together. By log­ging sus­tain­able actions in the online game you’ll also help Madi­son reduce energy con­sump­tion and com­pete nation­ally for a $5 mil­lion energy prize to use toward our city’s future sus­tain­abil­ity efforts.

When you and your fam­ily and friends or cowork­ers play Cool Choices, you’ll also be sav­ing money, enrich­ing your com­mu­nity and help­ing the envi­ron­ment! And every­one who plays is eli­gi­ble to win fan­tas­tic weekly prizes donated by dozens of favorite Madi­son establishments.
