Madison Parks is excited to kick off another season of fall hayrides at Cherokee Marsh, Warner, Elver, and Olin Parks!
Hayrides are a great way to enjoy the autumn months and celebrate a beautiful Wisconsin fall afternoon or evening. A hay wagon, pulled by a tractor, will take your group on a scenic ride through the park,
Madison Parks offers two options for your family, friends, or group to enjoy a hayride:
1. Special Events Hayrides
We will be hosting seven different events throughout the fall for your family and friends to enjoy a hayride, for only $2.00 per person!
- Trucks & Treasures – Saturday, September 13, 9a.m.-noon, Warner Park
- Fall Festival – Saturday, October 4, 10a.m. – noon, Olin Park
- Ducktober Fest – Saturday, October 4, 1p.m.-5p.m., Warner Park, Mallards Stadium
- Hikes & Hayrides – Saturday, October 18, 9a.m.-noon, Cherokee Marsh North Unit
- Downtown Madison Family Halloween – Wednesday, October 29, 3p.m.-6p.m., Hayrides around the capitol square. Drop off/pick up in front of Capitol Kids Store, 8 S. Carroll Street
- Holiday in Lights Hayrides – Saturday, November 15, 6p.m.-9p.m., Olin Park, and Saturday, November 22, 6p.m.-9p.m., Olin Park
2. Hayride Group Reservations
Madison Parks offers reserved hayrides for up to 24 people in all four parks at various times. These reserved rides include a half-hour hayride through the park, and time to roast s’mores around a campfire.
Group hayrides are a perfect way to celebrate fall birthday parties, with a large or small group. Hayrides are also a great – and affordable – outdoor activity for scout organizations, youth groups, and more.

Cost: $85.00 per group (1-24 people). Advance registration is required for the Group hayrides.
