A Final Draft version of the Hoyt Park Area Joint Neighborhood Plan is available at https://www.cityofmadison.com/planning/HoytParkPlan/. Please scroll down to the heading “March 13, 2013 Final Draft Version”.
The Final Draft version of the Hoyt Park Area Joint Neighborhood Plan is available. Each of the four neighborhood associations, Rocky Bluff, Sunset Hills, Sunset Village, and VanChaMasShe, will be setting up neighborhood meetings to solicit input on the final draft. The respective neighborhood associations will prepare a letter detailing community support or opposition to plan content, recommendations, and implementation strategies. Please check with your neighborhood association when a neighborhood-wide meeting is scheduled.
The final step is the adoption of the Hoyt Park Area Joint Neighborhood Plan. The general public is encouraged to provide written comments or register their support/opposition at the Common Council, City Board or Commission meetings. A tentative schedule for adoption will be periodically updated so please check the City of Madison Legister or this site to confirm meeting dates and times. A step-by-step explanation on how to appear/speak at the Common Council is located at https://www.cityofmadison.com/Council/meetings/Register.cfm.
A tentative date for introduction to the Common Council is April 30, 2013. The Final Draft Plan will be referred to various Boards and Commissions for review. It is anticipated that the Common Council will take final action at its July 2, 2013 meeting.
