Voter registration “closes” at 5 p.m. Wednesday, October 17.
Wednesday is the last day you may register or update your voter registration at any Madison Public Library, or through a Special Registration Deputy.
Voter registrations may also be mailed to the Clerk’s Office as long as they are postmarked no later than October 17. To complete a registration form to submit by mail, visit https://MyVote.wi.gov.
Although registration closes, you may register in the City Clerk’s Office with proof of address through Friday, November 2. Acceptable forms of proof of address would be one of the following documents showing your current name at your current address: Wisconsin driver license/ID card, utility bill, bank/credit union statement, paycheck, tax bill, residential lease, government check, or government document.
You may register to vote at your polling place on Election Day with proof of address. To find your polling place, visit www.cityofmadison.com/WhereDoIVote.
